Everything about the campsites open all year round in Aude

Seven campsites are listed in the Aude, four of them with verified off-season opening: Les Chalets du Lac in Belcaire, Le Cap Blanc in Leucate, the municipal campsite L’Espazo in Durban-Corbières and La Giraille in Castelnaudary. The department offers a mountain ski area, a peninsula for wind sports, the vineyards of the Corbières and the Canal du Midi.

Mountains and skiing around Belcaire

On the Pays de Sault plateau, at about 1,000 m, Les Chalets du Lac is a four-star site advertised as open all year round, for both pitches and rentals. Its wellness area, with a covered pool at 28 °C and a sauna, remains accessible in winter, and the château chalets are fitted with a pellet stove. The Camurac ski area is less than ten minutes away. In Camurac itself, Les Sapins closes from 13 September 2026 to 1 January 2027 and changes owners in 2026: details of its accommodation are poorly documented.

Off-season seaside at Leucate

In Leucate-Plage, Le Cap Blanc rents eleven mobile homes 50 metres from the sea, from 1 January to 31 December. The reversible air conditioning also provides heating, and reception is open every day from 8am to 7pm. There are no bare pitches and no pool. La Sirène, in La Franqui, closes outside the June to September period.

Corbières and the Canal du Midi

In Durban-Corbières, L’Espazo welcomes guests all year round in its six chalets and its motorhome area; tents and caravans are only admitted from 1 April to 31 October, and the campsite reopened in June 2026 after a fire. In Castelnaudary, La Giraille takes self-contained motorhomes and rents four mobile homes all year round, but its washrooms only work from June to September. The dates of the SIVOM du Chalabrais campsite, near Sainte-Colombe-sur-l’Hers, are not published.

Choosing a campsite open all year round in the Aude

Depending on the campsite, only the rentals or the motorhome area stay open: check what applies to you, as well as whether the washrooms and pool are open. These Aude campsites do not have the same facilities: covered pool in Belcaire, municipal pool in Durban-Corbières open in July and August only, sandy beach 50 metres away at Le Cap Blanc.

our method

How we select the campsites in this localisation

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

Reputation, backed by reviews

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.

3

Direct booking, transparent pricing

You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
