Tarn-et-Garonne has four listed campsites, two of them with verified off-season opening: Aici Sem Pla in Vaïssac and Le Lomagnol in Beaumont-de-Lomagne. These are small countryside sites, with no ski resort and no large estate, where winter is spent in a mobile home or a gîte.
Aici Sem Pla is a 2-star farm campsite, run by a family in Vaïssac, on the outskirts of Montauban. Its website announces a welcome from 1 January to 31 December, with no annual closure, with air-conditioned mobile homes and 300 m² pitches, some of them “nature” pitches without electricity; the exact dates should be confirmed with the campsite. It has no pool, no restaurant and no shop: shopping is done in the neighbouring villages. Le Lomagnol, a 3-star campsite beside the lake of the Beaumont-de-Lomagne leisure centre, rents out its 24 air-conditioned gîtes all year; seven lodge tents and a hall that can seat 70 guests complete the site. Its pitches are only open from 25 April to 17 October 2026, weather permitting, and the neighbouring intercommunal pool only opens from 1 July to 31 August.
La Tisarne, in Campsas, a small 3-star campsite with 30 pitches, an outdoor pool and mini-golf, opens from April to October: it is a spring, summer and autumn address, mainly for motorhomes. In Septfonds, Lodges & Camp du Bois Dodo offers a transparent dome, a tipi and chalets described as available all year; off-season opening remains to be confirmed with the establishment.
Ask whether the accommodation is air-conditioned and heated, which facilities remain accessible in winter (pool, grocery, bread) and until what time reception welcomes guests. Book directly, as low-season rates are published by the night or by the week.
Around Beaumont-de-Lomagne, a 13th-century bastide nicknamed the little French Tuscany, the timber-framed market hall houses the market and the birthplace of the mathematician Pierre Fermat can be visited. Local festivals, fairs and food events mark the Lomagne all year, and the 30-hectare lake is suited to fishing, with 22 carp-angling pitches.
In Vaïssac, the Quercy valleys can be explored on foot, Lac du Gouyré is a bird reserve and a porcini market is held in the village. The Aici Sem Pla farm itself, with its sheep and donkeys, interests children, and the village is home to Petit-Paris, a miniature of the capital. In Campsas, the Garonne canal is 3 km away and the Montech state forest 5 km. Bruniquel and Nègrepelisse are neighbouring. In Septfonds, the Aveyron gorges provide the setting for canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding, and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val offers via ferrata and climbing.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
