2 open all year round campsites, individually selected, to book directly with the establishment.
Filter by type of stay, star rating and budget to refine your selection.
A verified selection, presented on equal footing, in an order that changes with every visit.
Two 5-star campsites are listed on the portal, only one of them with verified off-season opening. The highest rating in outdoor hospitality does not guarantee year-round opening: it describes the level of facilities and comfort, not the calendar. In the low season, pools, restaurants and entertainment often close, even at a 5-star site.
Camping de Salverte, in La Neuville-du-Bosc, welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes on 18 electric pitches that can be booked all year by phone, with a washroom block reserved for winter. Reception is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from October to March. The rest of the estate follows the good weather: the heated covered pool operates only from 15 May to 15 September and the rental mobile homes from 15 April to 30 September. In winter, a covered tennis court, accessible all year, and a pétanque area remain.
Domaine Les Oréades, in Sanguinet, about fifty metres from Lake Cazaux-Sanguinet, advertises year-round opening on its website, with no winter dates or rates. The Yelloh! Village network, for its part, gives a season from 3 April to 19 September 2026, then a reopening on 26 March 2027. The outdoor pools close on 20 September, while the covered pool stays heated until the end of October. Before an autumn or winter stay, you need to call the campsite on 05 58 78 60 79.
Ask which facilities actually operate on your dates, and not only those that come with the rating: pool, restaurant, grocery, reception. Winter rates and booking dates should be confirmed directly with the campsite.
Around Salverte, the Normandy countryside can be explored on foot, with the Château d’Harcourt, the Château du Champ de Bataille and the Abbey of Le Bec-Hellouin about 10 km away. Bernay and Pont-Audemer are about thirty kilometres away, Rouen, Les Andelys, Giverny and Honfleur about 50 km, while Étretat, Deauville and the D-Day beaches call for about 100 km of driving.
Around Les Oréades, a cycle path crosses the forest between Sanguinet and Biscarrosse. Sanguinet has its Musée du Lac and its Saturday morning market, Biscarrosse the seaplane museum, and the Marquèze ecomuseum, in the Landes de Gascogne regional nature park, can be visited, and the Dune du Pilat is about 25 km away. The lake allows canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, with a local provider. The opening calendar of both campsites remains to be checked before departure.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
