Everything about the campsites open all year round in Loiret

Six campsites are listed in the Loiret, two of which have a verified off-season opening. Only those are presented as open all year round. They are located on the banks of the Loire and in the Pithiverais, less than two hours from Paris.

The two verified campsites

In Saint-Père-sur-Loire, Le Jardin de Sully, a three-star campsite facing the château of Sully-sur-Loire, is open 365 days a year for its rental accommodation and pitches, with a heated washroom block; the heated pool only operates in July and August, as do the summer activities. In Bouzonville-aux-Bois, near Pithiviers, Le Clos des Tourterelles, a two-star family campsite run since 1999, rents mobile homes and chalets with reversible air conditioning all year round and welcomes passing campers by reservation; its pool is open from mid-May to mid-September.

Announced opening, to be confirmed

Several sites say they are open all year without our having verified it: the Nibelle campsite, a four-star site in the Forêt d’Orléans, with a heated indoor pool and varied accommodation, including tipis and barrel cabins; Les Trois Étangs in Lion-en-Sullias, a residential leisure park built around three fishing ponds; Les Lilas, the only campsite in the Pithiverais, on the banks of the Œuf. The Parc de la Chesnaie in Autruy-sur-Juine has three hundred pitches and a heated water area, with seasonal activities; its off-season dates remain to be confirmed.

Choosing an all-year campsite in the Loiret

Note that Les Lilas, with thirty-one pitches, is protected by video surveillance and equipped with washrooms for people with reduced mobility. Ask whether the opening applies to tents, rental accommodation or both, and on which dates the leisure facilities and the snack bar operate. Check the heating of the washrooms and accommodation, then book for weekends.

What to see and do in Loiret

From Saint-Père-sur-Loire, riverside walks, Germigny-des-Prés and the local markets can be visited off-season, as can the Forêt d’Orléans. Around Pithiviers, the saffron museum in Boynes and the railway museum round out the outings, along with the Saturday market. Le Clos des Tourterelles also mentions Gien, the Loire châteaux and Fontainebleau. Les Lilas has direct access to the local GR de pays trail, the GR32/655E. The Parc de la Chesnaie has a mini-farm, a mini-golf course and a multisport area, and the Nibelle campsite a multisport area for tennis, volleyball and pétanque, in the Forêt d’Orléans. At Les Trois Étangs, coarse fishing and predator fishing are freely accessible, with a games room for children.

How we select the campsites in this localisation

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
