Everything about the campsites open all year round in Corse

Corsica has eight campsites listed on this portal, three of which have a verified off-season opening: these are the only ones presented here as open all year round. Five are in Upper Corsica and three in South Corsica. Even at these three, the campsite facilities (restaurant, thalassotherapy, activities) sometimes run at reduced capacity in winter.

Sea, beach and thalassotherapy on the east coast

The Domaine de Riva Bella, in Linguizzetta, is the most complete campsite on the list: four stars, 70 hectares, direct access to the sandy beach and accommodation open all year round. Its restaurant and thalassotherapy centre switch to reduced service, from Friday to Monday, from early February to early April and from November to 20 December. Further north, Marina di Sorbo, near Bastia, publishes chalet rates for all twelve months, with 157 units for 5 to 7 people; its welcome dates are to be confirmed.

Mountains and canyoning in the south

In Sari-Solenzara, U Ponte Grossu is aimed at those who prefer relief to swimming: a riverside campsite on the road to Bavella, with a canyoning base, adventure park and a nearby via ferrata. Its off-season rate runs from 1 November to 1 May, still to be confirmed with the campsite.

Seasonal addresses and openings to be confirmed

Two campsites close for several months and do not suit a winter stay: Casa di Luna, in Galéria, open from 9 May to 3 October, and the Mozziconaccio, in Conca. Three others have not confirmed their off-season opening: the Domaine de Griggione in Piedigriggio, Les Mimosas in Ajaccio and Marina di Casinca. Do not finalise a trip without having contacted them.

Choosing an all-year campsite in Corsica

First plan the crossing: ferry timetables change in the low season and determine your arrival date. Then ask which type of accommodation stays open, whether it is heated, and which facilities actually operate in winter. The cool nights at altitude justify rental accommodation rather than a tent. Book directly with the establishment, asking for exact dates rather than relying on a general all-year opening mention.

What to see and do in Corse

The island is discovered differently off-season. In the north-east, the trails of the Domaine de Riva Bella and its llama park remain accessible all year round, and the fitness room is open from early February to 20 December. In the south, the Bavella road, its needles and the trails of the GR20, which starts in Conca, tempt walkers in spring and autumn.

The towns stay lively all year: Ajaccio and its port a few minutes from Les Mimosas, Bastia near Marina di Sorbo. On the west coast, the Fango biosphere reserve borders Galéria for nature outings from May to October. In the interior, the Domaine de Griggione gives access to hiking, kayaking and mountain biking, with a river running through the campsite.

The sea remains the great asset of the east coast: the Domaine de Riva Bella offers direct access to the sandy beach, which is a pleasure to walk along well before the swimming season.

our method

How we select the campsites in this localisation

1

A verified criterion, not a promise

Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.

2

Reputation, backed by reviews

We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.

3

Direct booking, transparent pricing

You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
