Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Casa di Luna is in Galéria, in Haute-Corse, at the entrance to the Fango biosphere reserve and not far from the Scandola reserve. The natural pools of the Fango are about 3 km away, the Riccinniccia beach 4 km, and Calvi about twenty minutes by road. Access is along the west coast, in a little-visited part of the Balagne.
Rated two stars, the site covers 6.5 wooded hectares and has 151 pitches of 80 to 150 m², shaded by centuries-old olive trees and separated by hedges. There are also air-conditioned 35 m² mobile homes, in two models for 4 and 6 people, set on plots of 200 to 300 m². Three washroom blocks serve the pitches, one of them adapted for people with reduced mobility.
The management says it takes a restrained approach: local flora, dry-stone walls, limited lighting and wifi deliberately confined to reception, the TV lounge and the area around the pool.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The official website announces opening from 9 May to 3 October 2026, every day, with rates published only for this period. Mobile homes are rented by the week, most often from Saturday to Saturday. The campsite is therefore closed in winter and is not aimed at off-season stays.
Services remain simple. The campsite delivers bread and pastries, offers takeaway dishes, a washing machine, a TV lounge, a reading corner and table tennis tables. A fridge and a freezer are accessible at reception during opening hours, and phones can be charged at reception or the snack bar. Linen kits (sheets, pillowcases, towels) can be hired.
The mobile homes are equipped with a kitchen with gas hobs, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric coffee maker and crockery, a bathroom with separate toilet, air conditioning, heating and a wooden terrace with garden furniture; pillows and blankets are provided.
An unsupervised pool is available to guests, with a play area for children. The website does not give its opening calendar: like the rest of the campsite, it should be considered a summer facility.
Charging electric cars is not allowed on the site; charging points are available at the La Ciucciarella restaurant, 3 km away, and in the car park of Galéria town hall, 6 km away.
The flagship activity is the outdoors, led by physical education teachers and nature guides, by reservation and from age 7. The programme includes river trekking in the Fango, sea kayaking near the Scandola reserve with a visit to sea caves, coasteering (moving over rocks and swimming, from age 10) and canyoning or climbing depending on the outing.
Around the campsite, the website mentions hiking, trail running, mountain biking and diving, as well as the upper Fango valley and the peaks up to Paglia Orba, 15 km away. Calvi is about 20 minutes away and L’Île-Rousse 45 minutes.
Seasonal campsite: open from 9 May to 3 October 2026 (every day), closed in winter.
