Seven campsites are listed in the Yvelines, five of them with a verified off-season opening, and therefore open all year round for all or part of their accommodation. They stretch along the Seine, from Triel to Freneuse, and as far as the edge of the Rambouillet forest, the nearest half an hour from Paris.
In Triel-sur-Seine, L’Île du Roi welcomes tourist and business stays all year, with rentals, pitches and plots by the month; heated washrooms, a coworking space on weekdays and riverbanks for walking or running. In Verneuil-sur-Seine, Les Chesnets, a small, leafy campsite, is open from 1 January to 31 December, with heated washrooms and Paris Saint-Lazare 20 minutes away by train. In Freneuse, Le Criquet rents out its mobile homes continuously, but residents are only present from 15 April to 15 November; its washroom block is heated in winter.
In Épône, the Camping Canada, a family-run 2-star site, stays open continuously for its rentals and pitches, with two heated washroom blocks; its heated indoor pool only operates from April to the end of September. In Condé-sur-Vesgre, Les Cabanes de Condé offer wooden cabins, mobile homes and studios with no annual closure, by the night, the week or the month.
The Caravaning Club du Saut du Loup (Garancières), a residential park with 150 pitches, and Les Quatre Arpents (Triel-sur-Seine) have no confirmed off-season opening: ask them directly.
Check that the accommodation you want is actually open in winter, as some facilities are seasonal. Business stays and monthly stays are common; proximity to a station can weigh in the choice: Paris Saint-Lazare is 20 minutes by train from Les Chesnets, and the Triel campsite is 20 minutes on foot or by bike from a station.
From Triel, the riverbanks can be explored on foot or by bike, and Émile Zola’s house in Médan is nearby. Verneuil has its Saint-Martin church and, in Poissy, the toy museum. The château of Versailles can be visited in a day from several campsites, as can Thoiry and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Around Condé-sur-Vesgre, the Rambouillet forest invites walks and bike rides, with the château of Rambouillet and Houdan about twenty minutes away. From Freneuse, Giverny, La Roche-Guyon and Vernon are less than 20 minutes away; the ferme du Logis, in Jumeauville, offers pick-your-own.
On site, L’Île du Roi provides kayaks and paddleboards and allows fishing; the Camping Canada has a mini-farm, a minigolf and a fitness room.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
