Three campsites are listed in the Val-d’Oise, only one of which has a verified off-season opening. They are spread between the Oise valley and the Vexin français regional nature park, the nearest 35 minutes from Paris.
The Parc des Grands Clos, in Asnières-sur-Oise, is a 2-star campsite covering 4.5 wooded hectares. It announces year-round opening, with no closure announced, heated washrooms and electricity up to 45 A. The precise reception dates are to be confirmed with the reception desk. It is 35 minutes from Paris and 15 minutes from the château of Chantilly; Royaumont abbey is in the same commune.
The Val de Nesles, in Nesles-la-Vallée, has 220 pitches in the Vexin français, 13 km from Cergy-Pontoise. The Camping des Maurois, in Grisy-les-Plâtres, rents out mobile homes for short and long stays. The first announces year-round opening that we were not able to verify, the second does not give its dates: call before booking a winter stay.
Ask for the exact reception dates, the type of pitch available in winter and the electrical power offered. Stays by the night, by the week or longer are not accepted everywhere.
From Asnières-sur-Oise, Royaumont abbey, a former Cistercian abbey turned cultural foundation, is in the commune itself and pairs well with a walk around the ponds. Chantilly, with its museum and vast gardens, is a quarter of an hour away, and nearby Paris offers museums and monuments to visit in any season, which matters when outdoor activities are fewer. In the neighbouring Oise, the Mer de Sable, Astérix and Sherwood Parc, in the forest, are mentioned for family outings.
In the Vexin français, the walking trails can be enjoyed in the off-season. Auvers-sur-Oise, linked to Van Gogh, is only 6 km from the Val de Nesles, Maubuisson abbey is 10 km away and Versailles 46 km; at 5 km, swimming, horse riding, fishing and sailing are available. From Grisy-les-Plâtres, you can head towards La Roche-Guyon on one side and Auvers-sur-Oise on the other.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
You book directly with the campsite, no middleman or hidden markup. The price shown is the price you pay.
