Ten campsites are listed in Seine-et-Marne, three of them with a verified off-season opening: only these are presented here as open all year. The others are mentioned below, with a note that their opening is to be confirmed. The department combines forests, the Marne valley and the surroundings of Disneyland Paris, 25 to 45 minutes from the capital.
In Courpalay, La Vallée des Tamaris, a 3-star site beside a river, stays open all year: mobile homes and chalets are rented for a minimum of one month, the ecolodges by the week, and touring pitches are available. Washrooms and accommodation are heated there. Le Camping des Bondons, in the forest at La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, keeps its mobile homes and cottages open all year, while pitches are only priced from 17 March. Finally, the Parc Résidentiel Le Refuge, in Grandpuits-Bailly-Carrois, publishes winter rates from 1 November to 30 April for its weekly rentals and has heated washrooms; it also hosts workers on assignment.
Seven other campsites are listed in the department: La Baraude (Darvault, Fontainebleau massif), La Ferme de Malassise (Fontenay-Trésigny), Le Parc de Paris (Villevaudé), Les Granges (La Ferté-Gaucher), Les Pièces Monet (Isles-lès-Meldeuses), Paus’Art Déco (Villemer) and the Ranch Davy Crockett (Bailly-Romainvilliers). Their listings sometimes mention year-round opening, which we have not been able to verify: to be confirmed with each one. The pool at Paus’Art Déco, for its part, is only open from 15 June to 15 September.
Distinguish between rentals, which are open continuously, and pitches, which sometimes open later in spring. Check the heating of the washrooms, the minimum length of stay and the winter rates. Several addresses rent by the month or by the year rather than by the night.
From Courpalay, the big cat park is open all year, except on Mondays from November to January and for six weeks at the end of the year; autumn brings mushroom picking and flea markets. Provins is 30 km away. Around La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, the shop at Jouarre abbey stays open all year, champagne producers receive visitors by appointment, and the Marne is good for fishing and forest walks.
To the south, Provins, the château of Vaux-le-Vicomte and Fontainebleau are 30 to 40 minutes from Grandpuits, and Nangis offers a cinema and a theatre. Disneyland Paris is 25 minutes from Les Bondons.
Among the addresses to be confirmed, La Baraude occupies 15 hectares of private forest in the Fontainebleau massif, with a treetop adventure course and riding centres nearby. Le Parc de Paris, in Villevaudé, is 20 minutes from Disneyland Paris and 6 km from a fishing lake with water sports.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
