La Baraude is at Darvault, in Seine-et-Marne, in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, on a private wooded estate of more than 15 hectares. About a hundred hectares of woodland border the park and can be explored on foot or by bike. Most shops and services are about 3 km away.
This is not a typical holiday campsite. The park has 115 pitches of at least 180 m², bordered by hedges and equipped with individual water and electricity meters and a mains sewer connection. They are rented by the month or by the year to mobile home owners, who use them as a second home: the pitch cannot be used as a main residence, and the packages limit occupation to 200 days a year.
The site offers neither accommodation rental nor pitches for overnight guests, and there is no bar or food service. Pets are allowed, and only gas or electric barbecues are permitted.
Opening period: the park operates mainly for its residents, with occupation capped at 200 days a year. No opening to holidaymakers passing through is announced, in either summer or winter: to find out whether a stay is possible, you need to call 01 64 28 15 26.
Each pitch has individual water and electricity meters, billed according to consumption, and waste water drainage connected to the mains sewer. The package includes the provision of a garden shed. The park provides a laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, table and iron, free garage space for quad bikes and motorbikes at the entrance, and a shared library of about 300 books and board games, which also serves as a wifi access point. Two heated pools are reserved for residents from at least 1 July to 31 August. There is no bar or food service.
On site there is a children’s play area and sports pitches (football, volleyball, pétanque, tennis). Bikes are lent out at reception for occasional rides. In summer, depending on the year, the park organises pétanque tournaments, themed evenings, bingo nights, karaoke, picnics, craft workshops and discovery outings. The neighbouring forest offers marked climbing routes and walking paths. Around the park: riding centres, fishing, tree-top adventure courses, paintball, and the châteaux and museums of Fontainebleau and Nemours, home to the departmental Prehistory Museum of Île-de-France.
Residents’ park: pitches rented by the month or by the year, occupation limited to 200 days a year. No opening to holidaymakers passing through announced (to be confirmed with the campsite).
