Ten campsites are listed in the Oise, in Hauts-de-France, five of which have verified off-season opening: only those are presented as open all year round. Located between the Compiègne forest, Noyon and the Creillois area, in Picardy, they focus mainly on mobile home and chalet rental, with Paris 49 km from the Parc de la Garenne.
In Attichy, L’Aigrette, three stars beside a pond, is open all year round; its heat-pump yurts are rented in winter as in summer, and a night starts at €15 for two people in low season. In Bresles, La Trye opens its lodges, safari tents and tiny houses twelve months a year, from one night, with a heated covered pool open in winter during school holidays and private spas on the unusual accommodation. In Chiry-Ourscamp, La Montagne rents out its mobile homes all year round; its heated pool runs from April to October.
In Carlepont, Les Araucarias, two stars, keeps its mobile homes and chalets open all year round, with heated washrooms; the camping pitches close from November to March. In Villers-Saint-Paul, the Parc de la Garenne offers mobile homes bookable from 1 January to 31 December, from one week, and a TER train station in Creil.
For Le Village des Érables in Hautefontaine, which says it is open 365 days a year, L’Étang du Moulin in Salency, the Camping de l’Ancien Moulin in Acy-en-Multien, Le Pré Fleuri in Carlepont and the Parc naturel de week-end in Cires-lès-Mello, off-season opening remains to be confirmed with the campsite. The Parc naturel de week-end operates mainly on subscriptions, by the weekend or by the year.
Say whether you are looking for a pitch or a rental unit: at Carlepont as at Chiry-Ourscamp, winter opening applies first to the accommodation. Ask whether heating is included, whether the snack bar or pool are closed out of season, and about weekly or monthly rates.
From Attichy and Chiry-Ourscamp, the Compiègne forest can be explored on foot or by bike, and visits follow one another out of season: Pierrefonds château, the Armistice clearing, Ourscamp abbey, Noyon cathedral. At Attichy, a covered intercommunal pool is 4 km away; the campsite's minigolf opens only from April to September and its snack bar from May to September, so winter is spent around the pond and in the forest. La Montagne and Les Araucarias also welcome workers on business trips.
Around Carlepont, the châteaux of Compiègne and Coucy and the forests of Laigue and Ourscamp offer hiking; First World War historic sites dot the region. From Villers-Saint-Paul, Chantilly is 15 minutes away, Senlis 20 minutes, and the Parc de la Brèche and its miniature train are on site. At Bresles, you can cycle, go karting, canoe and do no-kill fishing.
Every open all year round campsite is checked against its official listing and real photos, not a marketing pitch.
We cross-check public Google ratings and reviews. An establishment below family standards doesn't make the selection.
