Le Pre Fleuri

Camping Le Pré Fleuri is in Carlepont, a municipality in the Oise near the Ourscamp-Carlepont forest, about twenty kilometres from Compiègne. It is at 430 rue Gilbert Pichard. The village has a few shops, and a walking trail starts there.

It is a small, quiet site of 40 pitches, enclosed and locked at night, with water and electricity hook-ups and waste water disposal. A children’s playground, a games room and a washing machine complete the picture. Pets are accepted. A rental is advertised from €50 a night.

The campsite has no website of its own. It is presented on the Oise tourist office pages, which describe it as quiet and close to the forest, and an older website also mentions pitches occupied by residents.

Opening period: the tourist office announces opening all year round, without giving dates, winter rates or any accommodation available in winter. This off-season opening therefore needs to be confirmed with the campsite before any trip, by calling 03 44 75 21 46.

The facilities announced remain simple: water and electricity hook-ups, waste water disposal, washing machine, children’s playground and games room. The site is enclosed and locked at night. Shops are in the village of Carlepont. No food service or swimming pool is mentioned on site.

Around the campsite, the Ourscamp-Carlepont forest and a walking trail in the village invite walkers. Trout fishing is possible in Tracy-le-Mont. History enthusiasts will find the Butte des Zouaves, the Cuts national cemetery and other First World War memorial sites nearby.
