Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Panorama du Rohou occupies the Pointe de l’Arcouest, in Ploubazlanec, in Côtes-d’Armor. Paimpol is 6 km away and the landing stage for the island of Bréhat is five minutes on foot away. The site, rated 2 stars, is crossed by the GR 34 trail and looks out over the sea and the islets of the bay of Paimpol.
The owner deliberately takes a stripped-back approach: no swimming pool or entertainment, no television, and free wifi limited to the reception building. People come here for the calm, for hiking, kayaking or diving. As for accommodation, the campsite offers pitches with or without electricity, seven mobile homes for four people, four bungalows and a wooden chalet, three small wooden units without washrooms and an apartment for four people.
Opening period: the campsite is seasonal. The website announces opening from 15 March to 1 November, and the 2026 rental rates run from 14 March to 1 November. It is therefore closed in winter. An English and German version of the home page speaks of a welcome “all year round”, which the French calendar does not confirm: for a stay between November and March, call 06 12 30 38 64.
The facilities remain simple. The washrooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility, the free wifi works only at reception, and the entrance barrier stays closed from 10pm to 9am. At the start of the season, bread and pastries can be ordered, and food trucks set up at the campsite entrance every evening from 5:30pm. The campsite has no swimming pool, bar or television. Rentals provide crockery and bed linen, but not towels.
No entertainment is organised on site: the place is aimed at nature and quiet lovers. The Pointe de l’Arcouest is the starting point for the island of Bréhat, reached by boat from the nearby landing stage. The GR 34 trail runs alongside the site, and the website also mentions kayaking and diving among the activities possible. The Paimpol tourist office publishes the calendar of events around the bay.
Seasonal campsite: open from 15 March to 1 November (2026 rates from 14 March to 1 November, to be confirmed with the campsite), closed in winter.
