La Maison Neuve

La Maison Neuve campsite is located at the hamlet of La Maison Neuve in Chauvigné, in Ille-et-Vilaine, a short walk from the village and in the middle of the countryside. It is run by the inn of the same name, which also offers gîtes, a room, a banquet hall and home cooking. Tourist offices describe it as a small, family-run and very leafy campsite.

The site has 13 pitches with electrical hook-ups and water points, with tables and shelters. The washrooms include hot showers, a washing machine and facilities for people with reduced mobility. A bike room, a bike washing area and facilities for horses are provided, along with a luggage transport service. Meals are taken at the inn, with a half-board option.

Opening period: the tourist offices of Ille-et-Vilaine and of Couesnon Marches de Bretagne present the campsite as open all year round, without giving dates, and the inn’s website does not publish any. Winter opening is therefore not confirmed by the campsite: check before you come on 02 99 95 05 64.

The advertised rates start at €5 for an adult and €4 for a child under 12, with an electricity package from €4 per day.

The pitches are connected to electricity and water. The showers are hot, a washing machine is available, and the accessible washrooms are suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The inn offers home cooking, a picnic basket and half board. The campsite accepts cash, cheques, holiday vouchers and bank cards.

Two walking routes of 8 and 12 km start from the campsite. The GR 39 long-distance footpath passes 1.3 km away, the Voie des Capitales 4 km away, and the Equibreizh riding centre is 850 m away.
