L’Ermitage du Grand Bois, also known as Green Station, covers 2.5 hectares of gardens, woodland, meadow and wild-plant fields at the Col de Boutière, in the commune of Le Poët-Célard in the Drôme. The owners, Maïté and Vincent, have built a simple place close to nature, with a chicken coop, a rabbit hutch and a vegetable garden.
The outdoor section has 25 unserviced pitches of 20 to 50 m², 7 of them suitable for motorhomes and caravans, a bivouac corner for lightweight tents, six safari tents on stilts, a cabin-tent, the Bich’Cabane, and a vintage caravan. The estate also offers four guest rooms, a studio and two chalets, including the Minshuku and the Kumi Cottage. A 130 m² pool with a paddling pool, a guinguette bar and a washroom block accessible to people with reduced mobility complete the picture. Pets are not accepted.
Opening period: the outdoor accommodation (pitches, safari tents, cabin, caravan) is open only from May 15 to September 15. Rooms, cottages, chalets and the table d’hôtes operate the rest of the year, except in November, January and March. Total closure therefore adds up to three months, and winter is not covered continuously: to stay between October and May, the dates must be confirmed with the establishment, on 04 75 53 33 72.
The campsite has a central washroom block with seven toilets and seven hot showers, accessible to people with reduced mobility. The pitches are close to a water point or an electric hook-up post, and the safari tents are equipped with an outdoor kitchen with a hob, fridge, coffee maker, kettle and tableware. There is a private car park with 60 spaces: vehicles stay outside the grounds, apart from motorhomes and the delivery of luggage.
The 130 m² pool, with its paddling pool, offers a place to relax in summer. The guinguette bar opens in July and August, serving light meals and takeaway dishes, every day at lunchtime and in the evening. Outside this period, a table d’hôtes operates by reservation, at least 72 hours in advance: 25 euros for the full menu, or 29 euros for the restaurant option. An ethical grocery shop sells local produce and loose goods. The covered summer function room welcomes groups.
The estate offers an outdoor play area, a ping-pong table, a trampoline, a pétanque corner, board games, a library and a comic-book corner. The pool is used for swimming in summer, and the guinguette hosts friendly evenings in July and August, with the programme available on the establishment’s Facebook page.
The place presents itself as a stopover for hikers, cycling groups and travellers on the move, with shelters for bikes and mountain bikes. The tents and pitches are set in a wood of centuries-old trees, far from urban nuisance. No other shared leisure facilities are announced, and outings in the region can be arranged by asking at reception.
Outdoor accommodation (pitches, safari tents): from May 15 to September 15. Rooms, cottages, chalets and table d’hôtes: all year except November, January and March. To be confirmed with the establishment.
