Creuse Nature is a 4-star naturist holiday centre set at the hamlet of Le Cheix in Boussac, in the Creuse, about 350 km from Paris. The 19-hectare site, mostly flat and grassed, has 120 shaded or sunny pitches and 28 rental units. A naturist card is not required, solo guests are welcome and the site describes itself as suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Accommodation ranges from pitches to equipped caravans, coco-sweets, bungalow tents and safari tents, with mobile homes of 20 to 32 m², a 25 m² chalet and eco-houses of 50 m² for six people along the way. The campsite announces a renovated restaurant for 2026, called “Chez Nous”, and new washrooms.
Boussac is easy to reach, with a bus station 2 km away, Lavaufranche station 7 km away and Montluçon station 35 km away.
Opening period: the official website announces opening from 11 April to 30 September, with seasonal rates published for this period. It also shows “winter 2026 rates” for just two rental units, an eco-house at 250 euros per week and chalet no. 37 at 175 euros, without specifying dates. Off-season opening therefore remains to be confirmed with the campsite on 05 55 65 18 01; it is not a campsite open all year round for all of its accommodation.
The water facilities include a large outdoor pool with a shallow section, a paddling pool fed by the filtered, heated water of the indoor pool, and that round indoor pool. The site advertises heated pools without specifying when they operate. The sauna is free every evening from 4pm to 9pm, and a Nordic bath, heated to around 40 °C, completes the wellness area, with a beautician and a masseuse present from 11 April to 30 September.
For food and drink, the restaurant offers a dish of the day every evening and the bar has a terrace, a library and a games library. A baker calls every morning from 1 April to 1 October, a convenience store opens during the season and a local producers’ market is mentioned.
Free wifi covers almost the entire site. There are also washing machines and tumble dryers, a freezer for ice packs, a picnic area with plancha, a motorhome service area and charging points for electric cars. Dogs are allowed in the rental units under certain conditions.
The campsite highlights entertainment mainly in July and August, with a more varied offer in April, May, June and September depending on the month. For children: circus workshop, crafts, evening readings, soap slide and games in the forest; for teenagers, live-action games at nightfall. An open stage takes place every Wednesday evening in summer and concerts are scheduled in spring.
For sport and wellness: aqua gym several times a week, yoga, step, line dancing, volleyball, football, table tennis, pétanque competitions, archery and a new mini-golf course. The campsite’s pond is suitable for fishing, and the trails on the site, like those in the region, are suitable for hiking and cycling. Themed weeks are organised around nature in June, music in mid-August and hiking in September.
In the surrounding area: Lake Sidiailles, the Pierres Jaumâtres and their treetop adventure park a quarter of an hour away, Boussac castle, Aubusson and its tapestry, Montluçon 35 minutes away, Lake Vassivière and Limoges.
Campsite open from 11 April to 30 September; winter 2026 rates published for two rental units without dates, to be confirmed with the campsite.
