Baroudeurs campsite is in Lagraulière, a rural commune in the Corrèze between Tulle and Uzerche, about 20 minutes from Tulle. Brive-la-Gaillarde is accessible by car, and the address serves as a starting point for Uzerche, Pompadour, Turenne or Collonges-la-Rouge.
Rated 3 stars and holding the VACAF label, the site is modest in size: around thirty pitches for tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes, and a few air-conditioned mobile homes to rent. Three 4-berth models (Super Titania, Ibiza, IRM) and one 5-berth model (Louisiane) are offered, with a fitted kitchen and reversible air conditioning. One washroom block is adapted for people with reduced mobility.
A restaurant-pizzeria open to everyone completes the offer: pizzas in the evening, a workers’ lunch menu on weekdays by reservation, and an autumn and winter menu and hours.
Opening period: the official website does not publish season dates. It announces a closure from 7 to 30 September 2026 and publishes mobile home rates from 3 April to 20 December 2026, with a two-night minimum; for any other period, it asks you to contact the campsite. Some camping websites mention opening all year round, which the campsite’s website does not confirm. For a stay in January, February or March, you therefore need to call before booking: 06 71 60 02 88.
The restaurant-pizzeria is the heart of campsite life. It also welcomes local residents and passing visitors: salads, simple dishes and homemade pizzas, served in the evening only, to eat in or take away. The menu changes in autumn and winter, with a lunch service from Monday to Friday and a workers’ menu by reservation. On closing days, the dining room can open on request for a family meal or a birthday.
For comfort, a shared washroom block has showers and toilets, including one cubicle accessible to people with reduced mobility. A guest wifi connection is available at reception: the management chose not to cover all the pitches, in order to keep wave-free areas. Sorting bins are installed at the entrance. About eleven motorhome spaces are grouped near the entrance.
The campsite has no pool of its own: the neighbouring municipal pool opens in July and August, from 2pm to 7pm. The air-conditioned mobile homes have a terrace, a private bathroom and garden furniture. Pitches are rented by the night, with or without electricity, in standard or XL format, and the rate depends on the number of occupants.
At the campsite, the entertainment stays friendly and varies with the season: family games, occasional creative workshops for children, karaoke, themed meals and evenings. A play area with swings, a slide and a sandpit keeps the youngest busy, and a table tennis table is available. The programme of events for the month is published on the website.
Five walking trails, from 5.5 to 14 km, start from around Lagraulière, including the Picoulet, the tour of the ponds and the Blanchefort forest; each has a downloadable sheet. A tennis court is about 100 m away and a fishing spot less than 1 km away.
For day trips, the website suggests the Jardins de Colette and their giant maze, Turenne, Collonges-la-Rouge, Uzerche, nicknamed the pearl of the Limousin, Rocamadour, the Pans de Travassac and their slate quarries, Pompadour and its château, as well as the Gimel waterfalls. Brive-la-Gaillarde and Tulle are easy to reach by car.
Opening dates not published: to be confirmed with the campsite. Closure announced from 7 to 30 September 2026; mobile home rates published from 3 April to 20 December 2026.
