Overview

Le Futuriste is at Saint-Georges-lès-Baillargeaux, in the Vienne, about 10 km from Poitiers. From the site the view looks out over the Futuroscope park and the Aquascope, which is why the campsite presents itself as the closest to the theme park. It carries the 4-star rating in its rate card and lists 123 pitches in total, of which 107 are spacious, from 100 to 120 m², marked out by hedges.

The rental fleet consists of mobile homes of 34 to 35 m² for 4 to 6 people and chalets of 29 m² for 4 people, described as equipped for summer and winter alike. Among the pitches, 61 are classed as “grand confort” with electricity and water supply and drainage, 19 as comfort, and the others without hook-ups. The site is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility and a motorhome service area is located within the grounds.

On opening, the website promotes off-season hospitality and announces heated washrooms in winter. The 2026 rate card publishes prices for chalets and mobile homes for every month, from November 2025 to December 2026, including January to March. For pitches, no rate is shown from 1 January to 6 February or from 10 to 31 March. The website gives no closing dates: they should be confirmed with reception.

Reception is open from 8am to 12pm and from 1pm to 9pm.

In July and August, the campsite runs a programme for all ages: kids’ club six days a week with crafts, outdoor games and a mini-disco, sports activities on the multisport court and two entertainment evenings a week, with karaoke, games or line dance lessons. Anglers have a free fishing pond within the grounds.

The big outing remains the Futuroscope, France’s leading theme park, which now offers 25 digital attractions and a night-time fireworks show on the lake; reception helps organise visits and sells dated tickets. Poitiers, 10 km away, is presented as the starting point for discovering the city and its region, and the reception team helps organise these visits.

For a day in nature, the website cites the Bois aux Daims estate, a 260-hectare park with a water park, 1,300 m² of wellness facilities, a cycle path, a treetop adventure course and a bowling alley. Off-season, visitors mainly enjoy the heated indoor pool, open until 1 November, and visits around the region.
