Overview

Rives Nature stretches along the banks of the Aff, on an LPO bird refuge estate, at Clos Sérot in Sixt-sur-Aff, right on the edge of Morbihan. A footpath leads in a few minutes to the heart of La Gacilly, the artists’ village where the Yves Rocher brand was born: on foot you can reach the immersive museum, the restaurants, the craft workshops and, in summer, the exhibitions of the Festival Photo, to which the campsite says it is the closest.

The estate offers very different types of accommodation: Design Premium cottages for 4 to 6 people, Design and Comfort cottages, a cottage with a cabin, wooden roulottes, lodge tents and a luxury safari tent. There are also unserviced pitches averaging more than 90 m², some of them suitable for twin-axle caravans, and pitches for motorhomes. The Morbihan tourist office counts 45 pitches and rates the campsite two stars.

As for opening, the Morbihan tourist office lists the campsite as open all year round for 2026, from 1 January to 31 December. The cottages have electric heating, which makes them suitable for autumn and winter stays; the safari and lodge tents are offered “in the good weather”, and the cabin for two people is only available from May to September. Reception publishes no winter closure; it is open Monday to Sunday, with shorter hours on Sunday.

The website does not give detailed opening dates for the pitches: it is best to confirm them by phone before coming in winter.

The pitches have electric hook-up posts and water points, access to the washrooms, an on-site waste-emptying and water-filling point and charging points for electric vehicles. Wi-Fi is free. A bar and restaurant area serves farm-produce breakfasts from April to October, in the dining area or at your pitch, and the restaurant Le Végétarium, in the Maison Yves Rocher five minutes’ walk away, gives guests a 10% discount.

The Design Premium cottages have two bedrooms (one king-size bed, two single beds), a sofa bed, two bathrooms with shower and toilet, a fitted kitchen with tableware for six, a living room with a flat-screen TV, electric heating and air conditioning, and a large pergola or wooden terrace. They are non-smoking and do not accept pets. Pitches cost from 17 to 25 € a night for two people depending on the season, with 5 € per extra person over 7, 3 € for electricity and 3 € per pet per day.

As for water, the tourist office lists access to a swimming pool in July and August, and the campsite mentions free access to the La Gacilly swimming pool; the campsite’s bar and entertainment programme run mainly in July and August. A 243 m² seminar room, open all year round, also hosts groups and business events.

Activities & entertainment

🎯Petanque
🏓Table tennis
🏐Volleyball
🛶Canoeing
🥾Hiking
🎣Fishing

The programme varies with the seasons. In summer, you can set off on a boat trip on the water; depending on the season, you can hire a mountain bike or a canoe, try sophrology, fishing or horse riding, and play table tennis, volleyball, badminton or pétanque. There is a play area for children, and you can borrow board games from the bar.

The proximity of La Gacilly changes the nature of the stay, since everything can be done on foot. The immersive museum at the Maison Yves Rocher gives guests one paid ticket and one free, valid all year round, and the campsite also mentions the experiences of the Coulisses de la marque. The town also hosts the Festival Photo, whose 2026 edition runs from 1 June to 4 October.

For miles around, the old heritage can be discovered among forests, heaths and rivers. Out of season, you can therefore combine a night in a heated cottage, a visit to La Gacilly away from the summer crowds, a walk along the river and a meal at the restaurant Le Végétarium, open every day according to its website, with lunch from 12pm and dinner from 7pm.
