Why we love this campsite

Seasonal campsite, April to October
💧Peninsula on the Étang du Stock
Wooden pods at the water's edge
Canoes, pedalos and paddleboards for hire
Sainte-Croix wildlife park 2 km away

Overview

The Rhodes campsite occupies a peninsula on the edge of the Étang du Stock, a 700-hectare lake at Rhodes, in the Moselle, in the Lorraine Regional Nature Park. The Sainte-Croix wildlife park is 2 km away, Sarrebourg 15 km, and the site lies within the area of Strasbourg, Nancy, Metz and Saarbrücken. It is rated 2 stars.

The site offers 29 pitches of at least 70 m², each with an electric hook-up post, for tents, caravans and motorhomes. For rentals, three 15 m² wooden pods for two people line the water, and two 25 m² chalets on stilts take up to five people. Pets are accepted on the pitches, on a lead, but not in the pods or chalets. Jetties can be rented for boats, by the month or by the day. Movable picnic tables and a children’s play area are available to campers, near the pitches.

Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The website announces opening from Wednesday 1 April to Sunday 18 October 2026. The campsite is therefore closed from late October to late March, with no winter offer published. For any request outside these dates, you need to contact the campsite directly.

Movable picnic tables and a children’s play area complete the facilities, and a kota grill with an electric plancha can be hired for 30 € a day for ten people.
