Off-season opening not confirmed: check the opening dates with the campsite before booking.
The campsite Terre Neuve is in Marigny, in the Deux-Sèvres, in the heart of the Chizé forest, about 5 km from Zoodyssée and close to the Marais poitevin. It is run by the municipality and offers about a dozen pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as five chalets for four people, equipped for people with reduced mobility.
Wifi is available and pets are accepted. Someone is on hand in July and August.
Opening period: tourist offices indicate that the chalets are available all year round, with the possibility of continuous rental, and that the campsite is open permanently in July and August. Another website, however, mentions a closure from 1 December to 1 March. Off-season opening dates are therefore not confirmed: they should be checked with the town hall of Marigny before booking a winter stay.
The site offers wifi access and accepts pets. The five chalets for four people are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. No swimming pool, catering or grocery shop is mentioned on site.
Several restaurants can be found in the neighbouring villages, notably in Beauvoir-sur-Niort.
The campsite is best suited to nature stays. The Chizé forest offers hiking trails, and the Raimbault mill and the cultural events of the neighbouring villages complete the possible outings.
About 5 km away, Zoodyssée offers the chance to discover wild animals, and the nearby Marais poitevin can be explored on foot, by bike or by boat.
Opening dates to be confirmed with the town hall: chalets announced all year round, pitches open permanently in July and August
