Puy Rond is a small family campsite on allée de Puy Rond in Bressuire, in the Deux-Sèvres, among oaks, acacias and pines. It has about twenty pitches with electricity and is less than a kilometre from the town centre, where there are shops, supermarkets and markets.
The site also offers chalets to rent, some of them for six people. Online guides describe a quiet, well-kept place, suited to couples and families stopping over or staying in the area.
Opening period: two guides announce opening from 1 April, until 15 or 31 October depending on the source. The campsite is therefore closed in winter for pitches. One guide states that the chalets can be rented all year round, which remains to be confirmed with the campsite.
The campsite has a washroom block with showers, washbasins and toilets, an area adapted for people with reduced mobility, a washing machine and a motorhome service area. Wifi is available, and bikes can be rented.
A swimming pool is available to guests, with a pool hoist for people with reduced mobility. In July and August, bread can be ordered at reception. Pets are accepted.
On site, a play area and an entertainment programme for children are mentioned, as well as the swimming pool. Cycling is a good way to discover the surroundings, with bike rental on site.
Bressuire, a medieval town in the north of the Deux-Sèvres, can be reached on foot from the campsite. Nearby wine cellars sell their wines directly from the producer.
