Les Aubazines

Les Aubazines campsite is on the route d’Ussel in Bort-les-Orgues, in the Corrèze, at the gateway to the Volcans d’Auvergne Regional Nature Park. Clermont-Ferrand is about 1 hour 20 minutes away by road. The site has direct access to Lake Bort-les-Orgues, where visitors swim and enjoy water sports in summer.

It belongs to the Onlycamp network and has 127 spacious, shaded pitches, most with optional electric hook-up, spread around three washroom blocks. For rentals, there are equipped tents for 5 people and several types of wooden chalets for 4 to 5 people, including a chalet adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Bed linen and towels are not provided. Dogs are allowed on a lead, and wifi is deliberately not offered.

Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite, advertised from 17 April to 1 November 2026, with arrivals from 3.30pm and departures until 11am. It is closed for the rest of the year, in particular from November to April. The pitch package for two people is listed at €15 before 1 July and after 31 August, and at €24 in July and August.

Reception provides information on outings in the area. A small grocery shop sells local products and a sales point serves ice cream and hot or cold drinks. A laundry, a motorhome service area and a communal barbecue are available. Each washroom block has showers, toilets, washbasins and a dishwashing area, with a space adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Payment is by bank card or ANCV cheques.

Lake Bort-les-Orgues offers a beach, swimming, canoeing, water skiing and fishing, directly from the campsite. On site, guests play pétanque, table tennis and various outdoor games, and a playground is freely accessible right next door. Activities for young and old are organised during the summer; the programme is available from reception.
