Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Les 4 Saisons campsite is in Grâne, a village in the Drôme valley, between the Vercors and Provence. The village can be reached on foot from the site, and the Drôme river flows about 5 km away. The management promotes a peaceful stay in a setting geared towards nature and outdoor activities.
The site has 43 pitches of about 100 m², marked out by hedges and all connected to electricity at 6 amps. Rental accommodation includes chalets for 2 to 7 people, lodge-style cabins on stilts (including a version adapted for people with reduced mobility) and several stay options, including a hiker package for walkers and cyclists without a vehicle. The website states that some accommodation is old and its washrooms cramped. Renovation is under way with support from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. For 2026, the rental accommodation stays open until 15 November and the pitches until 30 November. The campsite then closes for a break from 1 December 2026 to 2 April 2027, four months in all. Bookings for 2027 open on 21 December 2026; until then, requests are made by email.
The services are those of a modest family campsite. One washroom block is in use, and a second, with a cubicle for people with reduced mobility, is being refreshed. A motorhome waste disposal point is free for campers, and a laundry is available for an extra charge.
Free wifi is limited to 60 minutes per day per person, on the restaurant side; unlimited access throughout the campsite costs €1 per day. The campsite hires out gas barbecues, sheet and towel kits, and baby kits with a travel cot, mattress and high chair. A free-access plancha is available at no charge.
The snack bar, with an indoor room and two terraces, serves burgers, salads, sharing boards and tapas from May to October; the restaurant operates only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until 27 September. Two swimming pools, one of which is being finished, and a paddling pool complete the facilities; they belong to the summer season. Bread and pastries can only be ordered in July and August.
In July and August, the entertainment team offers holidaymakers a free programme: guided village walks, petanque tournament, board games, bike outings, volleyball, archery, karaoke, mini-disco and music evenings. The programme is aimed at families as well as children over 6. A petanque court and a table tennis table are available, with equipment lent at reception.
Around the campsite, the Drôme offers swimming and canoeing. La Gare des Ramières, a nature reserve, can be visited on foot or by bike. The Druise waterfalls, 72 metres high, the Omblèze gorges and the Marsanne forest offer hiking; the latter also has a treetop adventure course. The villages of Mirmande, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, and Marsanne, as well as the Crest tower, a 52-metre keep, are worth visiting. In Grâne itself, the 15th-century Gothic bell tower, 36 metres high, dominates the village. Sporting activities require you to come properly equipped, and children under 3 do not take part without their parents.
Seasonal campsite: rental accommodation open until 15 November 2026, pitches until 30 November 2026; closed from 1 December 2026 to 2 April 2027.
