Overview

Le Petit Réal is a farm campsite at Le Cros de Castel, chemin de Sauvebonne, in Solliès-Pont, in the Var. It occupies a 4-hectare organic farm in the Gapeau plain, at the foot of Mont Coudon. Toulon is about twenty kilometres away, Hyères beach 17 km, and the motorway and supermarkets about 3 km.

The site has ten pitches with electricity (2 or 3 amps) on about 2,500 m² of shaded ground. The washroom block has free hot showers, washbasins, toilets and sinks for washing dishes; a wifi point is mentioned. The family also rents two rural gîtes for four people, and a third one for four to six people is rented out by their son. Doctors, pharmacies and shops are in the village.

The minimum daily rate for a pitch, two people and one vehicle is listed at 17.50 € for 2026, with supplements per person, child, tent or vehicle. Bookings are made by phone on 04 94 28 94 80.

Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The Gapeau valley tourist office announces opening from 1 April to 30 September; the official website does not publish dates. The campsite is therefore closed in winter, and any stay outside these dates should be confirmed with the owners.

Facilities

The facilities are deliberately simple: ten shaded pitches with electricity, two free hot showers, one cold shower, four washbasins including one in a cubicle, two toilets, two sinks and a water tap. A wifi point is mentioned. Payment by cheque, holiday vouchers and cash is advertised. No pool, restaurant or shop is mentioned on site: the shops are in the village.

Activities & entertainment

🏓Table tennis

On site, the tourist office mentions table tennis and ball games. Around the campsite, the Gapeau valley offers riverbanks to explore, the Morières and Siou Blanc hills and five typical Provençal villages in the Solliès canton. The sea is about 15 km away. Markets are held almost every day of the week in neighbouring villages, including on Wednesdays in Solliès-Pont.
