Overview

Domaine Le Moulin Neuf is in Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie, a potters’ village in the Gard close to Uzès. The village centre is two minutes away, Uzès five minutes, the Pont du Gard a quarter of an hour and Avignon thirty-five minutes. Nîmes, Montpellier, Arles and the Camargue can all be reached in about one hour to one hour fifteen.

The property covers three hectares of mature trees. It has 135 shaded pitches separated by hedges, for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and a holiday village of mazets, small Provençal houses of 20 to 35 m² that take the place of mobile homes here. Four models sit side by side: Chêne (3 people, wheelchair accessible), Bouleau, Cerisier and Peuplier (4 to 5 people), all with a private garden corner and a covered terrace with a barbecue.

The calendar runs at two speeds. The holiday village is advertised as open all year round, and the 2026 rates cover every period from 1 January to 31 December, with short stays from two nights. The pitch area, however, opens in early May and closes on 15 September. Off-season, the offer is therefore aimed at holidaymakers staying in a mazet, for a weekend or a week, and at groups, as the estate also offers group bookings on quotation.

The place aims to be simple and quiet, without mobile homes, and the whole estate is accessible to people with disabilities.

On site, some of the facilities run all year round: free internet access, laundry, children’s play area, pétanque court, mini-golf, multisport courts (football, basketball, volleyball, handball) and a recently added tennis court. The reception is adapted for people with disabilities, with an accessible washroom cabin. The two washroom blocks include a baby area, and the laundry has washing machines and an ironing board.

The mazets are equipped for a self-catering stay and are rented with a few options: bed linen and towels at €15 per person, an end-of-stay cleaning package at €60, and a baby kit (cot and high chair) free on reservation. Campers can also rent a fridge and a garden furniture set by mentioning it when booking. The website does not mention any particular heating in the accommodation: it is best to ask before a winter stay.

From May to September, two swimming pools are added to the estate, one measuring 20 by 10 metres and the other 12 by 6. There is also a table tennis table, a fresh bread service and a reading corner with a book exchange. In July and August, a bar-restaurant serves Provençal cuisine on a terrace overlooking the pools; in 2026 it opens every evening from 28 June. There is therefore no swimming pool or catering on site outside the summer.

The estate’s entertainment is mostly in summer. From 6 July to 21 August 2026, a kids’ club welcomes children aged 3 and over in the morning, with crafts, outdoor games and treasure hunts. The afternoon is given over to tournaments in pétanque, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball and table tennis. In the evening, disco nights, bingo, meals with music and gourmet meals take turns, the last two with a charge, and a family walk is planned on Wednesday morning.

The rest of the year, the sports facilities remain available: tennis, multisport courts, pétanque and mini-golf are used by families at weekends as well as by groups hosted off-season.

Around the estate, the website mentions climbing, canoeing and kayaking, the nine-hole golf course, fishing and horse riding. On the cultural side, Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie is known for its potters’ village, museums and exhibitions. Uzès, the first duchy of France, is five minutes away; the Pont du Gard, fifteen. Avignon is thirty-five minutes away, Anduze and the Ardèche gorges forty-five, Aigues-Mortes, Arles and Les Baux-de-Provence about an hour, the Camargue an hour and a quarter and the Luberon an hour and a half.
