The campsite is at 61 chemin de la Peyrolle in Aouste-sur-Sye (26400), in the Drôme valley, about five kilometres from Crest. It now appears under the name Camping de la Sye; it was previously known as La Pierre à Feu. The site covers 35,000 m², shaded and green, along the Sye and close to the Drôme.
It has 55 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as a few mobile homes for rent (five according to Drôme Tourisme). Guests will find a quiet setting at the foot of the mountains, with cycling and walking routes nearby.
Opening period: the Drôme tourist offices describe the campsite as open all year round, every day. The 2026 rates distinguish a low season from January to May and from September to December, and a high season from June to August. The washrooms are listed as heated. To book, you can call 06 95 26 05 45.
The campsite offers a swimming pool, play equipment, a snack bar serving fast food, wifi access and a laundry. The washrooms are heated and pitches can be connected to electricity, charged at €4.50 a day for 10 amps. A motorhome service area is reserved for guests.
Pets are accepted and French and English are spoken. Payment is by cash, cheque or holiday vouchers (chèques-vacances). The opening dates of the pool and snack bar are not specified: they are probably seasonal and should be checked before coming outside the summer.
The site welcomes cyclists, hikers and bikers, and serves as a base for discovering the Drôme valley and the Crest area. The Drôme river, next to the campsite, and the valley trails offer enough to fill several days.
On site, the pool and play equipment round off a family stay.
