This farm campsite, presented under the name Camping du Pont de Sargy, is located at the hamlet of Le Pont de Sargy in Bannegon, in the Cher. It covers about 4,000 m² on a mixed crop and livestock farm, around a hundred metres from the river Sagonin, on the Way of St James and close to the Canal de Berry.
The site has six pitches with electrical hook-ups for tents and caravans, as well as two mobile homes and a chalet to rent. The washrooms include showers, a bathroom, washbasins and a coin-operated washing machine. A private swimming pool, a play area, a table tennis table and a car park complete the facilities. Pets are accepted and the campsite welcomes riders.
Opening period: the campsite is seasonal. The pages of the Val de Loire agency and of Berry Province announce opening from 4 April to 31 October 2026. It therefore does not receive holidaymakers in winter. To book, call 06 37 59 69 01.
The advertised rates start at €3 for a basic pitch, €6 for two adults with a car and a tent or caravan, and €3 for electricity; the mobile homes are rented from €260 to €350 per week and the chalet for €35 per night.
The pitches have an electrical hook-up. The washrooms offer showers, a bathroom, washbasins and a laundry sink, with a coin-operated washing machine.
The rentals comprise two mobile homes sleeping four to seven people and a chalet sleeping two to four. The campsite advertises neither a restaurant nor wifi. Payment can be made in cash, by cheque, by bank transfer or with holiday vouchers.
On site, the private swimming pool, the table tennis table and the play area keep the family busy. The farm is a peaceful place, with its animals and its dairy operation.
In the surrounding area, the château and museum of Sagonne are 10 km away, the gardens of Ainay-le-Vieil are close by, a water sports centre is 12 km away and several riding centres are 8 to 15 km away. The Magny-Cours circuit is 35 km away.
