Les Plantes municipal campsite belongs to the commune of Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny, in the Cher département, close to the Étang de la Salle. The setting is described as green and peaceful. The town hall’s website gives neither the capacity of the site, nor its star rating, nor the number of pitches.

Opening period: the commune states that the campsite is closed for the 2026 season. Only the chalets are available to rent, and they are advertised as bookable all year round. No reopening date for the pitches has been published, so it is not possible to say when the campsite will welcome tents, caravans or motorhomes again.

Chalet bookings go through the Berry Province reservation centre, part of the Gîtes de France du Cher, on 02 48 48 00 18. The commune publishes 2026 rates, set by a municipal council decision of October 2025. On arrival, vehicles under 1.90 m can settle in straight away, with the warden coming round afterwards, while taller vehicles must report during the warden’s hours of presence.

The published information covers the chalets only. The 2026 rates vary by period: from 45 to 55 € a night Monday to Thursday, from 60 to 85 € a night Friday to Sunday, and from 225 to 315 € a week. A cleaning deposit of 100 €, a deposit of 300 € and 5 € per pet per night are added. Booking fees and the tourist tax, due per adult per night, are not included and add roughly 20% more.

The website describes no washrooms, laundry, shop or catering on site.

The commune highlights the proximity of the Étang de la Salle. Its tourism page mentions walking and cycling routes, as well as fishing under the good angler’s charter, with permits on sale. No activities organised by the campsite are announced.
