La Croix-Marron municipal campsite is located on Rue Saint-Martin in Le Grand-Pressigny, in Indre-et-Loire. Rated 2 stars and run by the commune, it extends across a green, spacious, quiet and shaded setting on the banks of the river Aigronne, close to the village’s shops, swimming pool and sports facilities.
The site welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes, with electrical hook-ups, full washroom blocks and a motorhome service area. Two 32 m² chalets are rented for 4 to 6 people: two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen and a bathroom, by the week or for a weekend. Le Grand-Pressigny is about thirty kilometres from Loches and about fifty kilometres from Futuroscope.
Opening period: the campsite’s listing published by Touraine Val de Loire announces opening from 13 April to 31 October 2026. The campsite is therefore closed from November to mid-April and does not receive holidaymakers in winter. The 2026 rates published by the commune distinguish the off-season, from March to June and from September to October, from the high season of July and August, with access to the swimming pool included. To book, the campsite can be reached on 02 47 94 90 37.
The pitches have electricity and full washrooms are spread across the site, with access adapted for people with reduced mobility. A service area welcomes motorhomes, and wifi is mentioned at the campsite. Pets are accepted.
For children, a play area is set up on site. The village swimming pool, with its paddling pool for the youngest, is next door: access is included in the July and August rates. Accepted payment methods are cash, cheques and holiday vouchers.
The two 32 m² chalets offer two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen and a full bathroom. They are rented by the week, or for a weekend, with lower rates outside school holidays.
The campsite is close to everything the village has to offer: a boules court, a sports hall, tennis courts, sports fields and fishing in the Aigronne. Discovery trails for walks start in the surrounding area.
Le Grand-Pressigny is best known for its prehistoric heritage and its château, and is easy to explore on foot from the campsite. Loches and its châteaux, or Futuroscope, are within reach by car in a day.
