This municipal site of twenty-five pitches sticks to the essentials: a water point, washrooms, dishwashing sinks and bins, with no hotel-style pretensions. Parking is easy and Wi-Fi is available on site. Vernou-en-Sologne, a small Sologne village between ponds and forests, lends itself to walking and horse riding, and the campsite makes the most of this with activities organised throughout the year: tennis, table tennis, pétanque and horse rides. The atmosphere is deliberately simple and natural, suited to campers looking for a base without night-time entertainment or sophisticated facilities.
