Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
The Saint-Just campsite is in the village of Saint-Just, in the commune of Val d’Arcomie in the Cantal, about thirty minutes’ drive south of Saint-Flour. It covers around 1.5 hectares of greenery and has 65 pitches where you choose your spot freely. Most have an optional 16-amp electrical hook-up; a European adapter is needed.
Two types of accommodation complete the offer: wooden chalets with 1 to 3 bedrooms, for 5 to 8 people, and a two-bedroom mobile home for 6 people, all equipped with a kitchen and a terrace. Household linen is not provided, although blankets and pillows are on site. The campsite is part of the Onlycamp network, with a rate shown for 2026 of €15 until 30 June and €24 in July and August, for a pitch and two adults.
The setting is that of a small, quiet campsite: the Pierre branlante is 2.4 km away, Mallet beach 7.8 km, the Garabit Viaduct 9.8 km and the Grandval dam 11.2 km.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The official website announces opening from 3 April to 1 November 2026, so the campsite is closed from November to early April. It does not accept holidaymakers in winter.
The washroom block has hot showers included in the price, toilets, washbasins, dishwashing areas and an area adapted for guests with reduced mobility. At reception, a counter sells ice creams and cold or hot drinks, and a shared kitchen provides a fridge-freezer, a kettle and a microwave. There is also a laundry, a motorhome service area and free wifi across the whole site. Dogs are accepted on a lead, with an up-to-date vaccination record. The neighbouring municipal pool is free for campers, but is open only in July and August, during the school holidays.
On site, a playground keeps children busy. Next to the campsite, an outdoor area has a tennis court (paid) and a free-access city stadium for basketball, handball and football. The region can be explored on foot or by car: the Pierre branlante, a balanced granite boulder, 2.4 km away, Mallet beach for swimming and fishing, the Garabit Viaduct designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Grandval dam and Alleuze castle, 11.9 km away. The Anterrieux Resistance museum is 14.4 km away.
From 3 April to 1 November 2026; campsite closed in winter.
