Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Marie-France campsite is in Grand-Aigueblanche, in the Tarentaise (Savoie), in the La Léchère-les-Bains thermal area. Rated 3 stars, it is run by a couple and emphasises a family-friendly, relaxed, human-scale atmosphere. The thermal baths are about 700 m away, as is the Morel leisure park, with its pool and slides; the Valmorel resort and the big Alpine ski areas are not far.
The site offers 28 semi-shaded pitches, marked out and served by tarmac lanes, for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are also six mobile homes for 1 to 6 people and a 14 m² tiny house. The Bellevue residence, 900 m from the thermal baths, also rents studios and apartments for 1 to 4 people.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. Published rates run from 22 March to 19 October, and the La Léchère tourist office announces opening from 21 March to 17 October 2026 (dates to be confirmed with the campsite). The site is therefore closed in winter. For the studios and apartments of the Bellevue residence, no winter dates or rates are published: you need to ask on 06 09 47 32 30 before considering a stay from November to March.
The place suits nature-loving holidaymakers as well as spa guests who prefer the outdoors during their treatment, from late March to mid-October.
Facilities are simple. The washrooms are heated and Wi-Fi is free across the whole site. There is a laundry room with a tumble dryer, table and iron, a fridge and freezer freely available, a lounge with television and library, a barbecue area with picnic tables, a petanque court and a bike room. A bread depot operates depending on the period, and a pizza food truck and regional products (wines, crozets, honey) are mentioned.
The site is fenced and closed by a gate. A free shuttle serves La Léchère and its shops, with a stop right opposite the campsite, and reception is open from 9am to 8pm. There is no swimming pool at the campsite: swimming is at the Morel leisure park, 700 m away. Pets are accepted (category 1 dogs not allowed), with a supplement.
A mountain guide, who is part of the team, advises holidaymakers on walks and hikes. Around the campsite: the Morel waterfall about 400 m away, the Vanoise National Park, Lake Tueda for fishing, the Alpine passes for cyclists, as well as rafting, hydrospeed and canyoning on the Isère and the Doron, with discounts for guests.
Children have a play area and a trampoline; the Morel leisure park, the Valmo’branch treetop adventure park (from age 3, 15 minutes away) and Wam Park (10 minutes away) round off the offer. Themed evenings are organised, and reception offers a welcome drink with local products. The La Léchère thermal baths and the Aquacalida discovery centre are very close.
Seasonal campsite: rates from 22 March to 19 October, announced opening from 21 March to 17 October 2026 (to be confirmed with the campsite). Closed in winter; Bellevue residence: to be checked.
