Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Les Lacs d’Armagnac occupies a 54-hectare estate in Bretagne-d’Armagnac, in the Gers, between Toulouse and Bordeaux. The campsite is rated 4 stars and is arranged around a private lake with a beach. It aims to be human-scale: here, the main appeal is the water, the surrounding paths and the mini farm rather than large facilities.
The accommodation offer combines chalets for 4 to 6 people (Campitel, Guzet, Club), mobile homes with 2 to 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people, including one model accessible to people with reduced mobility, unusual accommodation such as the Coco Sweet, a furnished tent for 2 people and marked pitches of 100 m² and more, semi-shaded or shaded, with water and electricity.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The official website does not publish its dates; a reseller listing gives a season from 18 April to 13 September 2026 (to be confirmed with the campsite), with a later start for the pitches. The paillote, the delivered bread and the Aquapark only operate in July and August. The campsite is therefore closed in winter and is not suited to an off-season stay: for any enquiry, call 05 62 09 70 92.
The services are those of a summer campsite. Reception opens from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm, with a duty desk at the paillote when it is closed. The grocery, open in the morning and late afternoon, helps out with basic necessities and Gers specialities. In season, bread and pastries baked on site can be ordered the day before, with delivery to the pitch from mid-June to mid-September.
The paillote, by the lake, serves breakfast, pizzas, salads, ice cream and drinks in July and August, with themed evenings (grills, paella, karaoke, concerts). Sheets, a baby cot and a baby chair can be rented, as can electric bikes and vintage-style electric scooters called E-Choppers.
There is no pool: swimming is in the natural lake, with clay-tinted water, checked every two weeks by an approved laboratory. The Aquapark, with its 11 floating modules, is open from age 6, life jacket compulsory for minors. Two washroom blocks offer hot water, a cubicle for people with reduced mobility, children’s toilets, a baby bath and paid washing and drying machines.
The lake concentrates most of the activities: swimming, a landscaped beach with sun loungers, paddleboarding, pedalo and canoe rental for 30 minutes or an hour, and the Aquapark in summer. Fishing and walks round off the days, and a mini farm is home to ponies, sheep, pigs, rabbits and peacocks.
Throughout the season, the owners organise friendly evenings, family activities and entertainment for children. From the campsite, waymarked paths lead off on foot or by bike, and the Way of St James to Santiago de Compostela crosses the region.
In the surrounding area, you can visit Larressingle, nicknamed the little Carcassonne, Montréal-du-Gers, Lupiac and the Armagnac estates, ride the Armagnac rail bikes or watch a race at the Nogaro circuit. The Guinlet golf course, an equestrian centre, an educational farm, the ferme aux Cerfs, the Sarthou palm grove and the markets of the Gers are mentioned among the nearby outings. All these activities take place mainly during the summer season.
Seasonal campsite: announcement from 18 April to 13 September 2026 (to be confirmed with the campsite), closed in winter. Paillote and Aquapark in July and August.
