Overview

Le P’tit Bonheur is a small mountain campsite in Escaro (Pyrénées-Orientales), at 906 m altitude, at the foot of the Tres Estelles massif. It covers six quiet, shaded hectares in the heart of nature, in the Pyrénées catalanes Regional Natural Park. Camping websites describe a rustic site with 56 pitches, supplemented by rental accommodation: mobile homes, chalets, bungalows, caravans and a yurt.

The grounds are split between an area for textile campers, of about four hectares, and a naturist zone of about two hectares, separated by woodland. A mountain stream runs through the property. Pets are accepted for a daily supplement.

Escaro is a starting point for many hiking trails and a mountain bike circuit. The hot spring baths are about twenty minutes away, Spain about 1 hour 10, the Mediterranean 1 hour 20 and Andorra 2 hours.

Opening period: it is not established with certainty. One departmental tourism website states “all year round 2026”, while another website announces opening from mid-March to the end of November. The campsite’s official website is unreachable, so nothing confirms a welcome for holidaymakers in winter. Before planning a stay between December and March, call the campsite on 06 14 89 63 06 to check its dates.
