Le Moulin

Le Moulin de Pradelle is a natural campsite set on three hectares of greenery, beside the river in Pradelle (Drôme), in the Roanne valley, at the gateway to the Drôme provençale. The place presents itself as a haven of calm for travellers seeking nature, with a garden grown using agroecological techniques, whose vegetables and herbs feed the kitchen.

Several accommodation options coexist: large camping pitches, two 20 m² Safari tents (5 beds), one 20 m² Bengali tent (4 beds) and two 20 m² lodges for 4 people, offered under the Lodg’ing nomad-tent concept. The website also mentions a gîte and guest rooms, without stating when they take guests. Pets are welcome.

Opening period: the campsite, the equipped tents and the lodges are open from April 15 to October 15. It is therefore a seasonal campsite, closed in winter. A large, unsupervised pool lies at the foot of the mountains: children remain the responsibility of adults. Le P’tit Restô serves drinks, pizzas, salads, ravioli gratin, ice creams and sorbets, made in-house or with organic and local products, as well as homemade bread made with organic farm-grown flour. Campers have access to the natural campsite’s washrooms; in the equipped tents, electricity is installed and water is nearby. In the lodges, lighting runs on solar energy, with a phone charging point, and bed linen is not included. These services apply to the opening season, from April 15 to October 15.

On site, you can swim, visit the garden and meet the estate’s dog and hens. Around the campsite, the Roanne valley is ideal for cycling, cycle touring and mountain biking, river swimming, canoeing and hiking on many trails, in an unspoilt natural setting of lavender, mountains and rivers.
