Le Bel Été is a human-scale 4-star campsite on the route de Nîmes in Anduze, in the Gard, at the gateway to the Cévennes. The centre of Anduze is about 1 km away, and the site borders the Gardon, with several access points to the river for swimming and fishing. The Cévennes National Park, the Gorges du Gardon and the Pont du Gard are among the sites mentioned in the surrounding area.
The campsite has 97 shaded pitches: 40 camping pitches of at least 80 m² on level ground and 57 air-conditioned mobile homes for 4 to 6 people with a covered terrace. Wi-Fi covers the whole site, the 20 m by 10 m pool is reserved for campers, and dogs are allowed, except for categories 1 and 2, with a 10,000 m² park reserved for them.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The website announces a reopening on 4 April 2026. The campsite is therefore closed in winter, and no rental unit is reported as open outside this period. The main season is concentrated in July and August, with entertainment, the restaurant and the bar. For an arrival in March or October, you need to contact the campsite on 04 66 61 76 04.
Two washroom blocks, open day and night, include individual cubicles, baby cubicles, cubicles adapted for people with reduced mobility, and hot-water sinks for dishes and laundry. A fresh-food shop sells bread, pastries, newspapers and basic necessities, and bread is delivered every morning between 7am and 8am to the pitches and mobile homes.
The bar and the outdoor games area are open from 11am to 11pm in July and August. The restaurant serves dinner from 22 June to 30 August, except on Tuesdays, and the snack bar offers takeaway at lunchtime. The shops of Anduze are about 1 km away. The games room has a pool table, pinball, video games and table tennis.
In July and August, the entertainment team runs free activities for children aged 5 to 10 and for teenagers: water ball, skill games, a pétanque tournament and football. The campsite has two water slides of 18 and 23 m, a slide play area with six slides for children, a 110 m zip line that crosses the river, a mini-golf course, a volleyball and pétanque court, as well as dance nights, bingo and a weekly night swim.
Around the campsite, you can visit the Bambouseraie d’Anduze, the Cévennes steam train, the Trabuc cave or the Ardèche gorges by canoe.
