Overview

Run under joint ownership as a camping club, La Pierre d’Orge covers 11 green hectares dotted with ponds, about ten minutes from the Picardy beaches of Fort-Mahon and Quend. The spacious, semi-shaded pitches have water and electricity. Six fishing ponds take up a good part of the grounds, complemented by basketball, football and tennis courts, an archery range, a petanque area and table tennis tables. A kids’ club and Saturday dance evenings set the rhythm of the summer, in an atmosphere that regulars describe as calm and family-friendly outside these moments. The park is fenced for security, a point regularly praised by families with young children. Its score of 4.4 out of 5 on Google makes it one of the best-regarded campsites on the Picardy coast.
