Camping de la Pelouse is on the Chemin de Fey in Jaulny, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, on a three-hectare site beside the Rupt de Mad, in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park. Rated three stars, it lies halfway between Lorraine and Alsace, within reach of Metz and Nancy, and not far from Walygator Parc for families.
Online guides describe flat, grassy pitches with electricity for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as seven rental units, chalets with a terrace for one to six people. A heated outdoor pool, a bar, a bread service, a restaurant and a play area complete the offer.
Opening period: several online guides say the pitches are open from April 1 to September 30, and the rental units all year round, with a heated pool from June 15 to September 15. The campsite presents itself as a quiet place to stay, between river and woods. These dates are not confirmed by an official campsite page: check them before you come, especially for a winter stay on a pitch, by phone on 03 83 81 91 67 or by email at campingdelapelouse@gmail.com.
Online guides mention a heated outdoor pool, a bar, a bread service and a restaurant open every day except Monday. A laundry and washrooms complete the facilities.
The pitches are flat and grassy, with electric hook-up. Pets are accepted, according to the same guides.
On site there is a children’s play area, a pétanque court and fishing. The campsite also mentions dance evenings and hikes starting from the grounds.
In the surrounding area, the Lorraine Regional Nature Park offers walking and cycling trails, and Metz and Nancy, with their cathedrals and heritage, are accessible by car.
