Seasonal campsite: our checks show it closes for several months a year. Check the opening dates before booking.
Camping L’Hermitage covers 1.4 hectares in Plombières-les-Bains, in the Vosges, within the Southern Vosges Regional Nature Park. The heart of the spa town, with its baths, Roman remains, Calodaé fitness centre and casino, is 1.5 km away. The site is run by a couple, Guy and Carine, and remains small: 55 pitches, on flat ground or terraces, wide, shaded, marked out and equipped with electricity, plus chalets with a covered terrace and mobile homes.
The rentals include mobile homes for 6 or 8 people, a Moréa chalet for 5 people and a wooden chalet for 6 people. Sheets and pillows are not provided; water, gas, electricity and heating are included in the rate. Pets are allowed for a supplement.
Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The 2026 rates run from 4 April to 10 October for pitches and most rentals; only the Moréa chalet is offered until 28 November. The campsite is therefore closed in winter. A special rate is available for spa guests, from 18 nights, but only during this period. For a stay close to these dates, call 03 29 30 01 87.
Reception is open from 8:30am to 9pm. The washrooms have individual cubicles and hot showers are free. A washing machine and a tumble dryer are self-service, with an ironing board, and the iron is lent on request.
The pool is heated from 15 June to 31 August, weather permitting; access is included in the rental rate. On site there is also an outdoor play area with children’s play equipment, a games room with table football and billiards, and a television area. For food, the campsite sells takeaway dishes (pizzas, chips), cold drinks and ice creams, as well as bread and a few grocery items. A terrace and a barbecue area complete the facilities. The mobile homes have a fitted kitchen, a television and garden furniture.
Plombières-les-Bains offers activities all year round: 180 km of waymarked trails to explore on foot or by mountain bike, swimming and relaxing at the Calodaé centre, casino, nightclub, fishing in river and pond, minigolf and tennis. The town can also be discovered through its historic sites, a behind-the-scenes look at the baths, the Louis Français museum and a tourist train in the city of a thousand balconies.
Further afield, the Parc Miniature and a tree-top adventure park, which opens in mid-July, appeal to families. The surrounding area offers horse riding, golf, canoeing down the Moselle and boat trips. In winter, the slopes of Gérardmer and La Bresse are about 40 minutes away, but the campsite itself does not take holidaymakers at that time. On site, the games room and the children’s areas are enough for the youngest.
Seasonal campsite: open from 4 April to 10 October 2026 (Moréa chalet until 28 November). Closed in winter.
