Overview

The Domaine Sainte Véziane stands on a hill in Bessan, on the Route de Montblanc in the Hérault. Vias is about a 10-minute drive away, the beaches of Vias-Plage about fifteen minutes and Cap d’Agde 13 minutes; the Agde TGV station is 10 km away. It is reached from the A9 (exit 34, Pézenas-Agde) or from the A75 (exit 60, Vias-Agde).

The campsite is rated 4 stars. Its offer is based on mobile homes and chalets, light leisure units of 25 to 33 m² sleeping up to 6, with two or three bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, a shower room, a separate toilet and a covered terrace. The Confort ranges are not air-conditioned, while the Premium models are. A wooded park, a water park of more than 2,000 m² and a restaurant complete the site.

As for opening, the campsite presents itself as open from January to December. It devotes a whole page to off-season stays, praising quieter roads, more peaceful visits and prices sometimes cut in half. However, you should know that the water park only opens from 1 May to the end of September and that the kids’ club and the shows are concentrated in July and August. Reception keeps low-season hours, from 9am to 1pm and then from 2pm to 6pm.

The place therefore suits family summer holidays as well as spring or autumn breaks in the Languedoc, between the Étang de Thau, the Canal du Midi and the vineyards.

Bread and pastries can also be ordered there, to be reserved the day before for the next day, and a grocery shop completes the offer. Off-season hours are not detailed: it is best to confirm them with reception before coming.

The water park, open from 10am to 7.30pm from 1 May to the end of September, has a large outdoor pool, slides, two multi-lane slides, a paddling pool with water games, a lazy river linking the pools, spa benches and massage jets, surrounded by sun loungers. In July and August, a weekly evening session runs from 9pm to 11pm. Swim briefs are compulsory and shorts are not allowed. Outside this period, swimming is therefore not possible on site.

Practical services include a laundry (washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron), hire of towels, sheets, baby equipment and barbecues, paid Wi-Fi across the whole site, a self-service library and the loan of board games, mini-golf clubs and sports equipment. Parking is free and two electric vehicle charging points are installed. The L’Orée des Sens centre offers massages and treatments by appointment, including for children aged 3 to 14. Dogs are accepted. The site is accessible to guests with reduced mobility, but some paths are steep.
