Des Thermes

Camping Des Thermes is located on avenue de Vénasque in Bagnères-de-Luchon, in the Pyrenees of the Haute-Garonne. It presents itself as the closest to the town centre, at about 500 m, and to the thermal centre, at 350 m, which makes it a practical address for spa guests. Toulouse is 140 km away via the A64 motorway then the N125, and Luchon station is served by connections from Toulouse.

The manager welcomes guests in a family atmosphere on a site of 25 to 28 marked and stabilised pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. For rentals, the campsite offers a 17 to 20 m² studio upstairs, above the washrooms, and a 12 m² Coco Sweet bungalow for two people, without private washrooms. Stays of more than 19 consecutive days on a pitch receive a 10% discount.

Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. It opens from 28 February to 15 November 2026, with rental units priced from 1 March to 1 November. It is therefore closed from mid-November to the end of February, about three and a half months. For a stay outside these dates, you need to contact the campsite directly on 05 61 79 03 85.

The campsite keeps things simple: electrical hookup, water points, showers and toilets in the shared washrooms, which are heated in the off-season when necessary. Wi-Fi is free, and a washing machine and a dryer are available. The studio is equipped with a sink, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and two electric hobs; the Coco Sweet offers comparable equipment with a small terrace. Sheets, towels and tea towels are not provided. A bus serves the thermal baths, according to the website. Arrivals and departures are not registered between 12pm and 2pm. There is no pool or catering at the campsite; the pool of the Luchon thermal baths and the Vaporarium are in town.

On site, a pétanque court is available, and on Fridays the campsite organises an aperitif, a friendly communal meal and the making of spit cake, which you can taste. Around the campsite, Luchon is the starting point for many walks for all levels, including the GR 10. Fishing in rivers and mountain lakes is possible, and tennis and mini-golf are less than 500 m away. The website also mentions the Superbagnères ski resort and Peyragude, the Aran Park wildlife park, white-water activities and the Luchon Aneto Trail. The thermal baths offer treatments, including for the respiratory tract.
