Camping Municipal La Foulquetière

The La Foulquetière municipal campsite is located in Luçay-le-Mâle, in the Indre, five minutes from the village centre. It is set within the La Foulquetière leisure park, in a quiet, green setting, and is run by the commune.

The site offers 30 shaded or sunny pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The washrooms include showers, washbasins and accessible toilets, with sinks for dishes and laundry, a baby-changing area and an ironing corner. A children’s play area and a barbecue are available. Rates remain modest: €2 per night for an unserviced pitch, €2.50 for a serviced pitch, plus €2 per camper and €1.50 for electricity. ANCV holiday vouchers and Vacaf aid are accepted.

Opening period: the commune’s page does not publish dates. Several online guides announce opening from 1 April to 15 October, while the Val de Loire tourist guide lists the motorhome service point as open every day of the year. Winter opening of the pitches is therefore not established: it should be confirmed with the campsite before you come, on 02 54 40 43 31.

The campsite has showers, washbasins, washrooms accessible to people with reduced mobility, a dishwashing area, a laundry area and a baby-changing table. A play area and a barbecue complete the facilities.

A motorhome waste disposal point is offered for €3, and a tourist tax of €0.20 per person per night is added to the rate.

The La Foulquetière leisure park, which surrounds the campsite, offers mini-golf, tennis courts, walks through the woods with a little train, and a restaurant.

The village of Luçay-le-Mâle, five minutes away, is handy for a few groceries, and the nearby Val de Loire invites car trips to the châteaux and villages of the Indre.
