Camping du Cristal

Camping du Cristal is at 12 chemin Près de Hon in Baccarat, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, between the Meurthe and the forests that herald the Vosges. The town is known worldwide for its crystal works, and the campsite takes its name from it. It is a small, rather quiet campsite run by its owners, with a welcome described as attentive.

It has 40 shaded pitches, four of them reserved for motorhomes with a service area for waste-water disposal. Two equipped mobile homes for four to six people are rented by the week, from €385 to €475 depending on the period, according to the Lunévillois tourist office. Pets are accepted.

Opening period: the Lunévillois tourist office announces an opening from April 3 to October 31, 2026. The campsite is therefore closed from November to early April and is not suitable for a winter stay. The facilities remain simple: shaded pitches with electric hook-up, a washroom block with toilets, a relaxation area and a barbecue area. Motorhomes have a service point with water, waste-water disposal and electricity.

No swimming pool, catering or grocery shop is advertised on site. The shops of Baccarat are close by for supplies. The campsite accepts pets for €1.50 per night, and children’s rates start at €2.50 per night.

On site, a pétanque court lets you play with your campsite neighbours. The Meurthe flows right alongside: fishing and canoeing are possible on the river, and waymarked hiking trails start nearby.

The town of Baccarat offers visits to the crystal works and the crystal museum, and the forests of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the Vosges open the way to long walks and bike rides.
