The Base de Loisirs La Nizière is at 178 route de la Nizière, in Saint-Nizier-le-Désert (01320), in the Ain, in the heart of the Dombes. Rated 3 stars, the campsite is part of a wooded leisure park around two fishing lakes, with many hiking trails nearby.
Online guides describe about sixty unequipped pitches, about fifteen motorhome spaces and eight equipped leisure homes. The site has an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant with a snack bar and wifi access.
