Overview

The leisure park at Lac de la Moselotte is in Saulxures-sur-Moselotte, in the Vosges, in the south of the massif, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. It is built around an artificial lake of 9.6 hectares. Created in 1995, it has been modernised since 2015, with renovated accommodation and a brasserie that opened in 2018. Épinal, Remiremont, Gérardmer, La Bresse and Ventron are among the nearby destinations.

The campsite is presented as a 4-star establishment. It offers 50 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, 20 chalets for 4 to 8 people, 10 mobile homes for 2 to 8 people and 10 bungalows for 4 to 5 people, without water or indoor sanitary facilities. Two accommodations are adapted for guests with reduced mobility.

Opening period: the leisure park and its accommodation announce a welcome all year round, with children’s play areas accessible in every season. The chalets and mobile homes are equipped and heated, which makes a stay outside the summer possible. The lake itself is mainly a fine-weather affair: swimming is prohibited from September to the end of June, and catering runs from May to September.

Stay offers are available for weekends, fishing, electric biking or gourmet getaways, along with a 20% discount from 14 nights.

The lake lends itself to many supervised or independent activities. You can hire canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and pedal boats seating 2 to 5 people. Fishing is done with a float rod, with fly or in the river, and a dedicated brochure details the routes. Touring bikes, electric-assist bikes and rosalies (four-wheeled pedal vehicles) are available for hire; the greenway linking Cornimont to Remiremont allows long bike rides, and waymarked cycling and mountain-bike routes crisscross the area, with the Home Vélo label.

In summer, a free children’s club is reserved for campsite guests during the 2026 school holidays. August 2026 promises a lively programme of open-air concerts, a guinguette evening and karaoke nights, in the centre of Saulxures-sur-Moselotte and at the leisure park. The children’s play areas remain accessible all year round.

Around the lake, footpaths and a picnic area allow for long walks, and the wildlife and flora of the Vosges can be discovered at your own pace. The massif has many ski resorts in the surrounding area, useful for those staying in winter, while Gérardmer, La Bresse and Remiremont offer visits and heritage to discover.
