Overview

The Domaine de Langatte, known locally as the Langatte leisure base, lies on the shore of the Étang du Stock, in the Moselle. Under the name “La Tour du Stock”, it brings together on a single site a 3-star campsite, wooden chalets, unusual lodges, a wellness centre, a bowling alley and a landscaped beach. Stays range from a simple overnight stop to a week-long holiday.

The campsite has more than 160 grass pitches, flat and shaded by large trees, with views over the lake, as well as twelve recent pitches for motorhomes and caravans, with a 10-amp hook-up, water and waste disposal. For rentals, the estate offers 35 chalets (ten “grand confort”, including two adapted for people with reduced mobility, ten “confort” and fifteen renovated “standard”), three floating islands, three lodges on stilts and two treehouses.

As for opening, the official website does not publish a full calendar. It does state, however, that the chalets are offered in the off-peak season, with one night free for two nights booked in January-February, from March to early April and from November to mid-December. The wellness centre and its covered, heated pools operate all year, while the campsite’s huts are rented only from 1 April to 31 October. Exact off-season opening dates should be confirmed directly with the estate.

The heart of the off-season offer is the wellness centre, open all year. It has two covered, heated pools with massage jets, a waterfall and bubble loungers, with children’s sessions during which an inflatable structure is set up. There is also a hammam and a sauna from age 16 (the centre has four saunas at different temperatures), a cold plunge, a hot spa in a dedicated room and a relaxation circuit. Sessions are booked in one- to two-hour slots, with a child rate from age 3.

For meals, the bowling alley’s bar-restaurant serves quick or more elaborate dishes at any time of day: salads, pizzas, flammekueche and burgers. The estate’s leisure areas also include a games room with pool tables, pinball machines and coin-operated machines. A beach snack bar opens only during the summer school holidays, as does the large 70 m² water slide, open in summer from 1 pm to 6 pm.

The chalets have duvets and pillows; sheets can be hired (single sheet 8 €, double sheet 10 €, flat rate 30 € per chalet) and an end-of-stay clean is available at a flat rate of 60 €. A deposit of 300 € is required on arrival. The campsite has washrooms with access for people with reduced mobility, a motorhome area at 17 € a day and a reception office open from 9 am to 7 pm. The estate also rents a hall for seminars, competitions and weddings.

Activities & entertainment

🎱Pool table
🏊Swimming lessons

On site, activity is split between water, sport and indoor leisure. The aquatic centre offers water familiarisation lessons for children and adults, baby swimming sessions from 6 months on Saturday mornings, and aquabike on weekdays, Monday to Friday. A new discipline, Hydrox, inspired by CrossFit and practised in the pool, was announced in September 2026.

The bowling alley has six lanes with electronic scoring and suits adults and children alike; birthday packages are available. Pool tables, pinball machines and coin-operated games complete the area, which is lively in the evening. In summer, the green beach with a sand slope down into the Étang du Stock offers a panorama over the water, but it is not supervised. The water slide and the snack bar round out the summer offer.

Off-season, visitors mainly enjoy the wellness centre, the bowling alley and the lively evenings, with chalet stays at the off-peak rate. The estate says it offers various activities and events throughout the year, for families or friends, and the lodges on stilts offer a wildlife-watching spot from their terraces, notably for swans.
