Overview

La Bédure campsite is in Luzy, in the Nièvre, in the south of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, on the Autun road. Autun is about 35 km away and the nearby small town of Luzy has shops, restaurants, two supermarkets, a cinema and a market on Fridays.

The site has 55 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with glamping options. Two recently renovated washroom blocks, including two family rooms, are supplemented by four private washrooms that can be booked for a minimum of three days. Wi-Fi is free, and the staff speak French, Dutch, English and German.

Opening period: this is a seasonal campsite. The official website announces the 2026 season from 1 May to 15 September; a departmental tourist office, on the other hand, announces 1 April to 31 October (to be confirmed with the campsite). In both cases, it is closed in winter and you need to contact it for any stay at the start or end of the season, in May as in September.

The atmosphere is family-friendly and quiet, with a neighbouring heated pool, a play area and sports fields next to the site.

The facilities are those of a small countryside campsite. Hot water for showers and dishwashing is included in the rate, and the washrooms are cleaned every day. A small terrace serves ice creams, soft drinks, beer, wine, coffee and tea, and homemade pizzas are offered several times a week, most often on Fridays and Mondays. A supermarket is opposite the campsite.

A relaxation area has tables, chairs, board games and a television, and reception lends books and magazines. Dogs are allowed on a lead and must be walked outside the campsite. The gate is closed at night.

The heated pool, free for guests, has a 25-metre pool, a children’s pool and a paddling pool. It is open from 11am to 7pm from 8 July to 28 August: it is therefore only in use in summer.
